About Let Them Cook!
Our Story
Let Them Cook! was founded on the belief that cooking is more than just preparing food. It's an opportunity to develop independence, build confidence, explore creativity, and learn skills that can last a lifetime.
Our goal is to make the kitchen a welcoming place to learn, regardless of an individual's previous experience or abilities.
Through personalized instruction and practical support, we strive to make everyday kitchen experiences more accessible and rewarding.
Meet Our Founder
Hello! I'm Brandon, the founder of Let Them Cook!
I'm a classically trained chef with experience across a variety of culinary disciplines, along with a professional background in education and teaching.
I've had the opportunity to work with children, teens, and adults of different abilities, including individuals on the autism spectrum. Combining my culinary background with my passion for teaching has allowed me to help others discover what they're capable of in the kitchen.
I created Let Them Cook! to bring that experience into a more personalized setting, where each person's interests, abilities, and goals can guide the learning process.
Our Approach
No two people learn in exactly the same way, and we don't believe cooking instruction should be one-size-fits-all.
Our chefs emphasize patience, flexibility, hands-on participation, and individualized learning. We meet participants where they are and encourage them to grow at a pace that works for them.
Whether the goal is learning basic kitchen safety, preparing everyday meals, or exploring advanced techniques, we're here to make the experience positive and meaningful.
